Dr. Cynthia Stuart
Dr. Stuart is Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed her residency program at UT Southwestern / Methodist Hospital System where she served as Chief Resident. As a testament to her commitment to lifelong learning, she currently serves as an Associate Professor at UT Southwestern and the University of North Texas Health Science Center assisting in training a new generation of physicians. To better serve the local community, she completed a two-year course of study at Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in Advanced Leadership that enables her to help ensure the availability of quality health care providers and public health programs. She has appeared on several local and national television and radio programs to educate the public about various health topics.
Dr. Stuart has managed her own private practice in the North Carrollton area since 2005. She is committed to providing the most up-to-date evidence-based medical care to her patients, placing an emphasis on preventative care and natural disease management through lifestyle interventions. She excels at providing comprehensive and compassionate care by carefully listening to each patient’s concerns, analyzing their risks for disease development, and then partnering with them to create an individualized medical plan.
Through Direct Primary Care she is able to provide a more comprehensive, holistic approach with further emphasis on the prevention of serious illnesses, with a special interest in cardiovascular disease prevention. She believes it is important to provide an environment where mutually fulfilling physician-patient relationships can be forged based upon open communication and respect. Additionally, she believes a patient’s personal goals and beliefs should be taken into consideration when making any medical decisions and considers the patient an integral part of the decision-making process.

In her spare time, Dr. Stuart enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, hiking, and SCUBA diving. She enjoys running, yoga, strength, and spin classes in the early morning hours. She is a political junkie and history buff. She is an accomplished cook and enjoys cooking for family and friends. She knows how to make almost any dish diabetic/Keto-friendly, so challenge her with a healthy version of your favorite recipe.

Office Manager
Angie provides exceptional service to our patients, going above and beyond expectations to assist with administrative and patient care. Angie has worked with Dr. Stuart for over 10 years and was previously a Call Center Manager for an insurance company. As a result, she has a unique view of the healthcare industry and understands how important it is get things right the first time, down to the last detail. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and plays in a competitive paintball league. Her team has been featured in several publications and on television.

Clinical Director, Certified E.M.T. & Lab Technician
Mario provides friendly, professional, and quality patient care. He served in the Marine Corps and has worked as an E.M.T. and in local emergency rooms before joining our team. He is the father of four children and enjoys spending time with his family.
